ASUS Eee PC Seashell 1005HA-PU17-BU 10.1-inch blue netbook is great Computer
I have the ASUS Eee PC 1005HA Seashell-PU17-BU-Blue 10.1-inch Netbook two days ago. My first impression is that this is a great computer. Below you will find more specific remarks.
1) OS: Windows Starter
He runs very well without problems. I think a 1 GB of RAM would make it faster, but I can easily and securely to my main purpose of this research is to live, writing paper, and on the Internet.
I have not had a chance all my software again, but Windows Office 2007, LAMA Wiki, chromium and other programs in common use, I also work. Windows 7 to run start-up no more than three applications. I opened four.
Fortunately, I had no problems Language Support (IME) for Japanese and Chinese. Have, in general, I also found some things a little ‘more intuitive than XP or Vista. At this point, I see absolutely no reason for an upgrade to buy.
The inability to change the desktop image is a media-marketing decision spirit that I hope Microsoft reconsider. Not only that, but the background makes you look like a crack or powder on the screen they have. It is possible to achieve this and to speed up the computer a bit ‘in the process. In your Start menu, right-click Computer, select Properties, Advanced system settings, performance and adjust for best performance. “My background is blue.
2) Screen
Surprisingly fresh and clear. Yes, it is small, but so is the computer:)
3) Keyboard
I have difficulty writing about it. Some owners of the latest models also have an Asus space distorted complains. In reality, the space bar, slightly elevated on the left side. But I think it was intentional. When you press the function key with the blue “Running Man” sign on the left, you pass power management settings (see comment below to find) an update on the keyboard.
4) Battery
I’m not sure how to get the 10.5 advertised, but I’m always + 9 hours on low-power mode. It ‘incredible. The power supply is pretty small and you feel very quickly.
5) Strength / Quality
The computer feels surprisingly solid and less fragile than expensive computer that I bought in the past. Is not the most elegant computers out there, but it seems well built. It is a wonderful lack of light annoying. There remains only the light power in the upper right. The blue LED is annoying (as is done on most computers today), but much less of a problem than others out there. When the producers of computers, the power light would be back in the bottom right under my hand with the rest of the lights would be grateful.
6) partitions
My memory is divided into C and D drive. There are good reasons to create a partition, but I personally prefer none. It is relatively easy to change the partition.
7) bloatware
One or two programs (as far as I can judge) that I was able to remove quickly. Nothing at all like my last computer, over a dozen.
